The AP article bloveates over the fact that a black woman teacher accused wouldn't have gotten bail and that a black male teacher accused of sleeping with white female students would have been hung - which is true. I am just happy that the kids (or victims in Schweikert's case) didn't have a mob give them a lesson in pendulum physics first hand. Maybe you have to be born in the South to understand, but I could never imagine touching a white girl in the same town where they have a KKK museum. It is much easier to have her drive to visit me.
